Job Summary:
This position is responsible for processing of mortgages and communication with internal and external clients. The results must be produced in such a way that the Clients and Referral Partners have a positive experience and are motivated to refer their family and friends to our company and its Team Members (Loan Originators). It is essential to maintain excellent relationships with our Clients, Team Members, Referral Partners, Underwriters and Closing Agents. The right candidate will establish and maintain a high level of personal service, education and commitment to client services in order to teach them the principles of Fiscal Literacy and maximize in and out-bound referrals from each transaction, will assist Team Members and Clients alike and will assist Referral Partners, wherever possible, to add true value to their business. The candidate must commit to personal growth, team vision and taking action to accomplish individual and team results.

Responsibilities:
Analyzing loan applications and documentation (including but not limited to credit report, prelim, appraisal, tax returns, etc.) to all applicable guidelines and program profiles, gathering pertinent background information and ensuring that all loans are processed accurately and are properly documented.
Processing from beginning to end including pre-underwriting
Having a smooth work flow by enforcing and improving if need be the process set in place
Handling a high volume of loans and multitasking between e-mail, phone and internal clients
Strong organizational skills required
Working effectively in a "team" atmosphere
Opening and submitting mortgage files to underwriting
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong customer service skills and attention to details.
Setting up and maintaining the integrity of client records in POINT and update regularly and coordinating with Client Services/ Operations Manager the information necessary to keep contact database up-to-date.
Working with Team Members (Loan Originators) to insure fully completed loan applications and smooth client communication and education.
Other duties as needed.
Handling the loan file from receipt of the initial package to funding
Reviewing loan package to ensure it meets agency guidelines
Ordering all verifications
Ensuring disclosures are compliant
Opening Title and Escrow
Review appraisal and preliminary title reports for accuracy and potential problems
Reviewing the GFE and HUD-1 to ensure RESPA compliance
Ensuring loan meets all investor guidelines and overlays
Maintaining constant communication internally and externally
Communicate with customers, escrow, title companies, to resolve problems and obtain all necessary documentation required for file

 

Qualifications:
Must have in depth knowledge processing Conventional, FHA and VA Loans!
Individual must show that you can Close a Minimum of 25-30 Transactions per Month
MUST Have in depth knowledge on how to Qualify a Buyer and be able to read Complex Tax Returns Excellent Communication Skills Required
Must know Conventional Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac, FHA and VA
Must know Calyx POINT
Must know DU & LP
Must Know - GFE 2010, Anti Steering & TIL
Must be able to Multi Task
Need to work closely with Real Estate Agents, Loan Officers, Clients and Investors
Must have Reliable Transportation
